GIC hosts weekly education sessions for its members that gives them a holistic understanding of key concepts in finance and accounting. Additionally, GIC hosts financial modeling workshops, career days, interview preparation workshops and Bloomberg/FactSet training tutorials which allows members to gain the technical skills as well as a strong foundation for recruiting. GIC utilizes the Tozzi Center to provide members with the experience of using industry-wide, state-of-the-art technology.
GIC has a structured mentorship program through which all freshman and sophomore members are offered the opportunity to be paired with a mentor based on their academic and career aspirations. This gives each member a chance to develop a personal relationship with a junior or senior student who will be able to give them individualized support and advice throughout the term.
GIC has a vast and extensive alumni network across a wide breadth of careers both within and outside the US. The alumni network helps GIC organize private recruiting opportunities for the members.
