Each semester, GIC recruits undergraduate students with diverse backgrounds from all colleges at the University of Michigan who have a passion for learning. No prior investing experience or knowledge is required.
You do not need to be a finance major or have prior investing experience to apply to GIC. We are looking for students who are curious, thoughtful, and genuinely interested in markets. What matters most is your willingness to learn and contribute.

Behavioral and fit-based interview with current members to assess interest, curiosity, and potential.
A more in-depth interview designed to assess how you think, communicate, and approach investment-related questions.
